The cream is lightweight. I like the exotic smell. If you want something that won't weigh on your hair and is good for touch ups pertaining to dry hair/re-moisture, this is nice.

My New Holy Grail

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to my hair. I find products that work and I stick with them. I've been using the same hair lotion for my twist and braid outs since 2020. I tried this moisture cream because it made Caaliyah's curls look super juicy and hydrating in her youtube video (been a subscriber since 2016). First off, I love the smell. I've never used a cream with a strong scent but this cream and the detangler smell fruity and delicious. Second, it's thick, creamy, and hydrating. I find myself reaching for this cream over my other hair lotion and gels. Third, This has pretty good hold. I have natural hair and live in the humid south so I can get upto 3 days with this and my hair still looks defined and not super frizzy. Lastly, I decided to go natural in 2016 after my father passed. Caaliyah had just started her Hazel Goddesss channel. I've watched her grow over the last 8 years and this along with her products are a reflection of her growth. While using her products, it brings me back to those days while going through heartbreak and watching her to figure out what to do with my hair. It's nostalgic and a bit comforting. I know she put a lot of time and love into what she makes and that shows.
